The 2021 Dubai 7s is being held as two rugby sevens tournaments on consecutive weekends in late November and early December. They are being played as the fifty-first season of the Dubai Sevens, following the cancellation of the 2020 tournament due to impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to ongoing impacts of the pandemic, the first event is being played behind closed doors on 26–27 November 2021 with no spectators allowed, but the second event is scheduled for full crowds on 3–4 December at The Sevens stadium in Dubai.Only twelve men’s teams instead of the usual sixteen are competing, so the Olympic format of three pools with four teams in each is being used
