Rebels vs Waratahs Preview

This is a crucial game for both sides and the winning squad will finish the weekend in third place.

The Rebels went into the bye on the back of their worst performance of the season against the Reds, but they will still go into this clash as favourites.

They have comfortably won their two meetings with the Waratahs this season and they have won three of their past four games as favourites.

The Waratahs’ winning run came to an end with a flat effort against the Brumbies last weekend and they would need to improve on that performance to be any chance against the Rebels.

There is plenty to like about the Waratahs from a betting perspective.

They win when they are expected to, they are 3-2 as favourites, but they generally don’t get the job done as underdogs.

The Waratahs have won only one of their past eight games when giving away a start and I am happy to oppose them again in this encounter.
